Spring Valley features a unique combination of golf, disc golf and history that dates back to the Great Depression.  The founder, Roland Vernon, is a Third Generation Texan who lived on the land as a boy.  Upon his retirement he purchased the Gosling Road property.  Knowing every tree, curve of the creek and rise of the land, once he took up playing golf with his son, he knew just he needed to do… open a 9 hole golf course.

The result of Mr. Vernon’s passion is today a bustling little niche on a busy thoroughfare being refurbished by owners Andi & Don Young.  Spring Valley Golf & Disc Golf Course near The Woodlands affords golf aficionados of all skill levels, whether chasing the ball or the disc, the opportunity to play in an area that is surrounded by high dollar golf venues.  Being a 9 hole golf course with alternate tees and a very affordable price point makes it a good choice for today’s busy schedules.  The 27 hole disc golf course is renowned for its championship design complimented by the biggest and best disc golf pro shop in southeast Texas.
